Celtic vs Arsenal
Having already seen off the challenge of Dinamo Moscow, Celtic head into a daunting-looking tie against Arsenal chasing the glittering prize of Champions League qualification.
Whilst the Hoops will undoubtedly be the underdogs, this still promises to be a stiff test for the Gunners, and manager Tony Mowbray has admitted the Celtic vs Arsenal game is crucial to the Scots.
The Romanian side pulled off the shock of the third qualifying round by knocking out last season’s UEFA winners Shakhtar Donetsk. Ioan Sabau’s team produced a fantastic performance in the first-leg to come away with a 2-2 draw and then defended their advantage in the return-leg to draw 0-0
Sporting will be desperate to get a victory in the first leg of their Champions League play-off against Fiorentina. They haven’t looked convincing in their summer preparation period, and opened the new Portuguese league season with an underwhelming 1-1 draw away to Nacional.
